About the role: Business Development is core to growing business via Buyers on Udaan. This team is responsible for the business growth of the category. The team drives product adoption and evolution to ensure Udaan becomes relevant and the obvious choice for trade to all businesses in that category. In this role you will be the face of Udaan to all our buyers. What you will need: - Leading a young and motivated team (up to 150+ people) to become the place for B2B business - Communicating effectively and driving alignment on the mission, goals/ targets, why and how of what must be done - Super aligned on customer experience - Responsible for recruiting, training and performance management of the team - Interpreting and analyzing data to understand problem sharply and analyze proposed solutions - Will be required to work collaboratively with other support functions (Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations) What you will do: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies - Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets - Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts - Negotiate and close agreements with large customers - Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts - Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities - Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs - Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency - Stay up to date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board Candidates having a background of Telecom,Paints,FMCG will be preferred
