Udaan - HR Policy & Processes Job Purpose : - The position will play a key role in the development of the HR Policies and related processes. - The position will be responsible for drafting, implementing and reviewing the HR policies at group level ensuring the requirements of different areas of business are well addressed. Position will also be responsible for designing HR process in coordination with different functions. Key Responsibilities : - Plan, direct, implement and monitor HR processes related to employee life cycle (from on-boarding to exit) which helps create a better workplace - Ensure that overall HR practices across processes conform to the stated control framework of the organization - Ensure there are systems and policies in place to induce best practices that help meet the performance and growth objectives of the organization - Develop systematic feedback mechanisms for evaluating policy impact and effectiveness, and mechanisms for respective policy updates and changes, taking into account evolving organizational goals and needs - Create branding strategies around policies & processes along with internal communications team to promote organization as an employer of choice - Ensuring that policies adhere to legislation and corporate governance as well as ensuring that they are clear and accessible at all levels - Undertake research on best practice in HR management and prepare recommendations accordingly Functional & Competencies : Advocacy : This position needs to listen to the stakeholders for policy requirements. At the same time, She/he should be able to question the requirement by giving pros and cons and give a better perspective. Futuristic Approach : Should be able to think the future implications of all policies in the overall organizations vision and implement the policies accordingly. Empathetic Approach : Should be able to understand the culture of different segments/function in the organization and be able to think their requirement while designing policies. Collaborative skills : The role requires the incumbent to work closely and coordinate with the Internal and external teams to create success. S/he should be able to seamlessly navigate these relationship dynamics in a high growth, young, agile business environment. Results orientation : The role is required to work on delivery on daily numbers, short-term goals and long-term milestones set by business and efficacy.
