Job Title: Assistant Manager - Sales & Marketing

Language Requirement: Fluency in Hindi and Marathi - mandatory
Role Objective:
Drive sales growth and market penetration for TVS Sundaram Industries' industrial product portfolio by managing key accounts, executing sales and marketing strategies, and coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure customer satisfaction and business profitability.
- Independently manage assigned territories, customers, and product segments
- Achieve sales volume, revenue, and margin targets
- Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans
- Handle OEM, distributor, and institutional customer accounts
- Lead negotiations, finalize pricing within approval frameworks, and close orders
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports
2. Marketing & Market Intelligence:
- Execute product-specific and segment-specific marketing initiatives
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Support product launches, exhibitions, trade fairs, and dealer meets
- Assist in developing pricing strategies and promotional schemes
- Track and evaluate marketing effectiveness and ROI
3. Customer & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, quality, and finance teams
- Ensure on-time delivery and service commitments to customers
- Address customer complaints, technical clarifications, and escalations
- Collect and communicate customer feedback for continuous improvement
4. Team Support & Process Adherence:
- Guide and mentor sales executives and marketing officers
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies, systems, and reporting standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Analytical ability to interpret sales and market data
- Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Excel, and MIS reporting
- Understanding of industrial/manufacturing sales cycles
- Knowledge of digital marketing and lead-generation tools
- Time management and prioritization skills
