Purpose of this role is to develop insights and strategies that promote continuous performance improvements and drive business by establishing and implementing the overall Business Intelligence strategy across the organization with a strong focus on data analysis, data mining, reporting and advanced visualizations across disparate data environments including big data platforms.  This position reports to: Head - Business Planning  Key responsibilities include:  - Plan and implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy  - Develop KPI dashboards  - Discover and implement statistical models optimize business processes, and continuously identify new opportunities to leverage analytics to improve our ongoing sales and marketing operations and develop new revenue drivers and cost savings.  - Lead the design and implementation of all analytical projects, ensuring that these solutions align with the organization’s strategic direction and technology standards  - Oversee ongoing development of existing reporting environments with a focus on standardization and consolidation. Create and maintain business requirements for technical implementation of tracking / analytics tools.  - Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to develop a cohesive and comprehensive understanding of the key drivers of the business.  - Analyze customer level buying behavior data and recommend actions for tactical planning i.e. basically purchase funnel data – non-consideration, non-preference and customer satisfaction analysis on both product level and channel level.  - Predict and understand customer patters through metric and statistical analysis. Build out data models including predictive analytics to support company with actionable insights.  - Analyze Return on marketing expenses – evaluate media strategy, media buying – ATL/BTL and campaigns and recommend actions to be taken up in tactical planning. This also includes sales verticals ROI measurement, digital campaign analysis, social media analytics and mobile analytics.  - Business risk Management - Undertake business risk identification, de-risking and mitigation planning on an ongoing basis along with other functions  Desired Skills and experience  - Master’s in Business Administration in general management, strategy, marketing, and finance from premier institute.  - Bachelor’s in business, statistics, Math’s or engineering or any other field dealing with numbers, analytics or hard sciences.  - 6-10 years of work experience in Analytics, Consulting or Planning in preferably automotive industry.  - Strong understanding with numbers, processes and logic, Knowledge of marketing analytics concepts.  - Must be highly proficient in Excel and working with large datasets. Proficiency in PowerPoint is a must.   - Experience with digital analytics tools (such as Adobe/Google Analytics) and familiarity with technical/tracking code implementation process preferable.  - Experience with databases and business intelligence systems (such as Microstrategy, Cognos) are a plus.  - Knowledge of A/B, multivariate testing a plus.  - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
