Chief Manager Taxation (CA Qualified) Job Purpose: This position is responsible for ensuring compliances, handling litigations and liasioning with auditors and regulatory authorities with respect to Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation Key Responsibilities: - Plan, manage and develop over all aspects of the Company's tax compliances - Direct and Indirect Taxation - Income tax related compliances- relating to payments, return filings and notices/assessments - GST compliances (payment & return filings, validation of ITC) and responding to GST notices, assessments. - Coordination with statutory auditors with respect to Direct Tax and Indirect Tax related queries - Coordination with Internal Auditors for taxation related audits and Internal controls - Circulation of monthly MIS with respect to Direct tax and Indirect Tax compliances and litigations to Senior Management - Educating Taxation team and other stakeholders on notification/circular/budget issued time to time by CBDT/CBIC/ Ministry of Finance Job Requirements: Qualification & Experience : Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of relevant experience Functional Competencies: - Strong understanding and experience in Direct and Indirect Tax Law - Experience on responding to notices/ handling assessment orders, surveillance and other tax litigations
