Job Title: Outbound Call Center Head - Car Insurance Department: Sales and Customer Acquisition Reports to: Chief Distribution Office Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Outbound Call Center Head to lead our car insurance sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our outbound call center operations, driving sales growth, and ensuring high-quality customer interactions. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate teams, implement effective strategies, and achieve ambitious sales targets while maintaining compliance with insurance regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Team Management: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of outbound sales representatives and team leaders - Establish performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations - Implement training programs to enhance team skills and product knowledge - Foster a positive work environment that promotes high performance and employee satisfaction 2. Sales Strategy and Execution: - Develop and implement effective outbound sales strategies for car insurance products - Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets - Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales approaches - Collaborate with the product team to understand and effectively communicate product features and benefits 3. Call Center Operations: - Oversee daily call center operations, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation - Implement and maintain call center technologies and CRM systems - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average handling time, and customer satisfaction scores - Continuously improve processes to enhance productivity and call quality 4. Quality Assurance and Compliance: - Ensure compliance with IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) regulations and company policies - Implement and maintain quality assurance programs to monitor call quality and adherence to scripts - Address customer complaints and escalations promptly and effectively 5. Data Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze sales data, call metrics, and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities - Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management - Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and strategy adjustments 6. Cross-functional Collaboration: - Work closely with marketing, product, and underwriting teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives - Collaborate with IT department to implement and optimize call center technologies - Coordinate with the customer service department to ensure seamless handover of sold policies 7. Budget Management: - Manage the call center budget, including staffing, technology, and operational costs - Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or performance Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred - 8+ years of experience in call center management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role - Proven track record in achieving sales targets in the insurance or financial services sector - Strong understanding of the Indian car insurance market and IRDAI regulations - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in call center technologies, CRM systems, and data analysis tools - Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment - Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of other Indian languages is a plus Key Competencies: - Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills - Strong analytical and decision-making abilities - Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement - Adaptability and resilience in a changing market environment - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high performance
