
Role Summary:
Own the end-to-end renewals portfolio across all lines of business. Drive strategy, execution, and improvement in renewal conversions, persistency, and retention. Ensure regulatory compliance, customer communication, and system readiness for all renewal activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive renewal strategy across agency, digital, banca, and direct channels
- Own key metrics: renewal conversion %, persistency, lapse %, and customer retention
- Manage campaigns via SMS, email, WhatsApp, IVR, and outbound calling
- Monitor daily/monthly funnel across lines of business and geographies
- Identify drop-off points and implement corrective actions across systems and process
- Work with Tech, Product, and Operations for automation, alerts, and real-time dashboards
- Ensure all regulatory communications and notices are sent as per IRDAI timelines
- Lead the renewal call centre and digital servicing initiatives
- Track and report renewal performance to CEO and senior management
Requirements:
- Deep experience in general insurance renewals (motor, health, property, etc.)
- Proven track record of managing large renewal portfolios
- Strong understanding of distribution models, systems, and IRDAI guidelines
- Ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and drive results with speed
