Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Business Head / Category Head to lead sales efforts across the country.

The Business Head / Category head will be responsible for driving revenue growth, setting the national sales strategy, building high-performing sales teams, scaling distribution networks, and strengthening key customer and partner relationships across banking, lending, or financial products. You will own national P&L goals for sales, driving business and operations expansion through strategic planning, leadership excellence, and market innovation. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and people leadership to deliver sustained growth.

Job Summary :

We are looking for a visionary, execution-focused Business Head to lead Turno's sales strategy and national expansion. This role owns national sales P&L, drives revenue growth, scales dealer and financing-led distribution, and builds high-performing regional sales teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in vehicle loans (new, used, 3W, CVs), dealer management, collections oversight, and financing-led sales models, with the ability to operate at both strategic and ground levels in a fast-scaling start up environment.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & National Execution:

- Define and execute Turno's national sales strategy aligned with business goals, EV adoption targets, and market opportunities.

- Drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market share across regions.

- Own national sales KPIs, funnels, and conversion metrics; proactively identify gaps and deploy corrective actions.

- Lead GTM execution for new products, geographies, and OEM/financing partnerships

Leadership & Team Development:

- Build, lead, and scale a pan-India sales organization comprising Regional Sales Managers and field teams.

- Set clear performance expectations, drive accountability, and foster a culture of ownership and execution excellence.

- Develop leadership capability, succession pipelines, and coaching frameworks for long-term scale.

Market, Channel & Dealer Expansion:

- Design and scale multi-channel distribution models, including:

- Direct Sales

- Dealer & dealership networks

- DSAs, connectors, and on-ground agents

- Strategic OEM and financing partnerships

- Drive penetration across metros, Tier 1, Tier 2, and emerging markets.

- Use competitive intelligence, pricing insights, and market data to refine GTM strategies.

Financing, Dealer & Collection Management:

- Leverage deep expertise in vehicle financing (car loans, CV loans, 3W, used vehicles) to drive financing-led sales.

- Manage and strengthen dealer relationships, dealer productivity, onboarding, and compliance.

- Work closely with credit, risk, and operations teams to ensure healthy collections,delinquency control, and portfolio quality.

Customer & Stakeholder Management:

- Build strong relationships with key institutional clients, large fleet operators, OEM's, and financial partners.

- Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across the sales lifecycle.

- Represent the sales function in leadership forums, product discussions, and strategic reviews.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 8-12 years of experience in national or multi-region sales leadership roles

- Strong background in vehicle loans, auto finance, NBFCs, OEMs, dealership-led sales, or automotive ecosystems.

- Strong understanding of market dynamics, distribution models, and customer behavior across geographies.

- Proven experience in dealer management, channel sales, and collections oversight.

- Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing sales teams across India.

- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and distribution models.

- Graduate with MBA preferred (Sales/Marketing/Business) from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution.
