Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of cost management processes and systems across all active projects.

- Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts to support project planning and execution.

- Analyze project financial performance, identify variances, and provide corrective recommendations to maintain budget adherence.

- Manage cost reporting, cash flow analysis, and earned value management to ensure transparency and control.

- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to optimize resource utilization and cost efficiency.

- Lead periodic cost review meetings with senior leadership, providing insights and strategic input for decision-making.

- Establish and enforce cost control standards, policies, and best practices across departments.

- Mentor and guide junior cost engineers or analysts to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.

- Support contract negotiations, change order assessments, and risk evaluations from a cost perspective.

- Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and benchmarking data to enhance forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's preferred.

- 8-12 years of experience in cost management, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects.

- Strong knowledge of cost control systems, budgeting software, and ERP platforms.
