- Should possess in depth knowledge of Pre & Post contract cost management works and other associated works.
- Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable referring major changes to line manager,.
- Should verifying the measurement book and Bar Bending Schedule as per GFC/work done and mode of measurement as per IS codes.
- Should review of all submitted bills as per Checklist and TAT and identify discrepancy and highlights same to right concern person.
- In depth knowledge of all applicable statutory compliances, insurances licenses etc.
- Should be able to understand and interpretation of all contracts terms and condition , special contract condition , Force Majeure ,cost impact over time extension , change control and manage CCF log etc , should be able to identify variation , cost escalations claims ,extra items and other types of claims as per contract clauses.
- Should be able to perform Cost audit work as necessary.
- Should have working knowledge of Cost X , MS Excel and other related software.
- Prepare and Review of Certificates of payment for client ,contractors etc. in line with contract T&C.
- Should be able to assist Project lead in value engineering exercise.
Qualifications:
- Education - B.E/BTech Electrical/Mechanical.
- He should have relevant experience of working preferably for a construction consultancy in India/abroad, hold a diploma/ graduate degree preferably in Cost Management and possesses good technical skills.
- A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
- 4 to 10 years' work experience with demonstrated career growth graph.
