Role Overview:
As a Product and Sourcing Manager at Tupperware, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of product sourcing, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring quality control.
You will collaborate closely with the product development, marketing, and supply chain teams to bring innovative and cost-effective products to market.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. Your work will directly impact Tupperware's ability to offer competitive products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with manufacturers to achieve optimal terms and cost savings.
- Manage the product sourcing process from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with product development teams to define product specifications and ensure manufacturability.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain quality and delivery standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration and innovation.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including disruptions and price fluctuations.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with manufacturers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Proven ability to manage the product sourcing process from start to finish, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and quality control.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in product sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
