About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Sales and Store Operations Specialist to help create memorable in-store experiences, drive sales, and support the daily operations of our retail space.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in customer-facing environments, understands the nuances of premium retail, and has a genuine love for helping people.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers with a warm, friendly, and engaging approach to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

- Build product knowledge of duckduckbabys offerings and communicate features, benefits, and care instructions confidently.

- Meet or exceed individual and store-wide sales goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

- Drive revenue by upselling, cross-selling, and suggesting add-ons based on customer needs and shopping behavior.

- Convert foot traffic into sales through personalized customer engagement and thoughtful product recommendations.

- Maintain a visually appealing store by keeping shelves well-stocked, clean, and organized in accordance with merchandising standards.

- Manage POS transactions, returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset.

- Monitor and share customer feedback to help improve service and inform product decisions.

- Stay informed on industry trends, especially in the baby and parenting space, to offer relevant insights and product suggestions.

- Collaborate with store leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to team success.

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Retail Management, Hotel Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- 2-5 years of experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a premium or lifestyle brand.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong customer-first mindset.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, confident approach to customer concerns.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic store team.

- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and in shifts as per store needs
