
About the role:
We are seeking a highly driven and analytically rigorous investment professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in end-to-end deal execution, portfolio management, and value creation within the private equity space. This role demands a unique blend of top-tier academic pedigree, sharp commercial acumen, and deep financial expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing & Origination: Proactively identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities that align with our growth equity mandate. Build and maintain a strong network with investment banks, founders, and industry experts.
- Deal Execution & Due Diligence: Lead the end-to-end investment process. This includes building and reviewing complex financial models, coordinating holistic due diligence (commercial, financial, legal, tax), and structuring transactions.
- Investment Committee (IC) Presentations: Draft comprehensive investment memos and present rigorous investment theses, risk mitigants, and return profiles to the IC.
- Portfolio Management & Value Creation: Work closely with the management teams of portfolio companies to execute strategic initiatives, optimize operations, and drive revenue growth. Attend board meetings as an observer or board member.
- Exit Strategy & Execution: Monitor portfolio performance continuously and assist in evaluating and executing exit opportunities, including IPOs, strategic sales, or secondary buyouts.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members in financial modeling, research, and diligence workstreams.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Chartered Accountant (CA): Must be a Merit Rank Holder.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA): Must be from a premier, top-tier institution (IIMs, ISB, or a top Global/Ivy League Business School).
Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of direct Private Equity investing experience. Prior experience in top-tier Investment Banking or Management Consulting before PE is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated track record of closing deals and active portfolio management.

- Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills.
- Deep understanding of corporate law, deal structuring, and term sheets.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex investment strategies simply and effectively.
