Truhome Finance - Vice President - Compliance

JOB OVERVIEW: 

This role will be responsible for supporting the Company's compliance function by ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory, statutory, and internal governance requirements.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, policy governance, compliance monitoring, audit coordination, regulatory reporting, and implementation of regulatory changes across the organization.

The position requires close collaboration with business and support functions to identify and mitigate compliance risks while strengthening the overall control environment. 

QUALIFICATION: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, Law, Management, or related discipline. CA, CS, LLB, or compliance-related certifications preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 15+ years of experience in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Risk, Audit, or Governance within Housing Finance Companies, NBFCs, Banks, or Financial Institutions. Exposure to NHB/RBI regulations, PMLA, KYC/AML, Fair Practices Code, and regulatory reporting requirements preferred. 

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Monitor and ensure compliance with NHB, RBI, PMLA, KYC, Fair Practices Code, and other applicable regulations.

- Track regulatory developments and coordinate implementation of new regulatory requirements across functions.

- Develop and maintain compliance monitoring mechanisms, compliance trackers, and governance dashboards.

- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and identify areas requiring corrective action.

- Coordinate internal, statutory, and regulatory audits and ensure timely closure of observations.

- Prepare compliance MIS, reports, certifications, and updates for Senior Management and relevant committees.

- Review and update compliance policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks periodically.

- Support regulatory inspections and act as a liaison with regulators and auditors.

- Drive compliance awareness initiatives and training programs across the organization.

- Partner with business and support functions to strengthen compliance culture and mitigate regulatory risks.

- Support senior management in assessing compliance risks and implementing corrective actions arising from audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
