Job Summary:
- The Finance Manager will oversee the financial management and operations of our Company.
- This role involves managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on compliance with Indian financial regulations.
- The Finance Manager will work closely with the leadership team to provide strategic financial insights and drive the financial health of the company in a competitive and dynamic IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:.
- Develop and manage the company's annual budget, including detailed financial projections for IT projects.
- Perform financial forecasting and variance analysis to guide strategic decisions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS).
Revenue Management:.
- Oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
- Manage billing and invoicing processes.
- Monitor key financial metrics, such as profitability, cash flow, and operating margins, relevant to the IT services industry.
Financial Operations:.
- Supervise daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and taxation.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including IT-related procurements and project-specific expenses.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to ensure financial stability and support the company's growth objectives.
Taxation & Compliance:.
- Ensure compliance with all Indian tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and corporate tax filings.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to Indian financial regulations and standards.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
Strategic Financial Management:.
- Provide financial insights and strategic advice to the senior management team on pricing, cost optimization, and investments in technology.
- Support business planning by analyzing the financial impact of new service offerings, market expansion, and capital investments.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with company objectives, particularly in scaling IT services operations.
Cost Management:.
- Analyze and manage IT-related costs, including software licensing, cloud services, and infrastructure investments.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining service quality.
- Work with IT and operations teams to optimize resource allocation and control project costs.
Financial Systems & Processes:.
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of financial systems, ensuring they integrate with IT service management tools.
- Streamline and automate financial processes, particularly those related to IT project accounting and service delivery.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems, enabling real-time financial insights.
Team Leadership:.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and identify training needs to enhance team effectiveness.
- Promote collaboration within the finance team and across departments to achieve organizational goals.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in financial management, preferably within the IT services or technology industry in India.
- Strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (Ind AS).
- Proficient in financial management software and advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (QuickBooks) is a plus.
