Job Title: Senior Brand Manager/Lead
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to help us build our brand awareness and drive user adoption and preference within the category. You'll work across all levels and departments of our organization to find what make us unique and communicate it to the world. As a Senior Brand Manager you will be responsible for building, conceptualizing and executing central & thematic brand campaigns. As a high growth startup, you would have the first-hand experience of drafting brand & creative guidelines and build positioning by driving narratives amongst the right target audiences via online and offline campaigns. You would be a key person to manage the agencies- both offline, online (digital) and creatives to ensure smooth flow of operations and campaign execution. You'll need to have an understanding of consumer buying behaviours; customer personas along with a deep understanding in full-funnel marketing. You will be contributing significantly to build a strong brand with a great value proposition and to achieve B2C business goals within the Growth Team.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Define Truemeds' brand positioning, value proposition, and messaging.
- Build and validate user personas to guide campaigns.
- Drive full-funnel strategies aligned with growth and retention goals.
Campaigns & Brand Identity
- Lead first big-bang brand campaigns to create high-impact awareness.
- Plan annual brand integration calendar across channels, seasonal campaigns, and partnerships.
- Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
Media, Influencer & Partnerships
- Execute integrated campaigns across digital, performance, OOH, ATL/BTL, and offline activations.
- Identify and manage celebrity/influencer partnerships and strategic brand alliances.
Brand Measurement & Insights
- Track brand health, awareness, preference, and engagement.
- Conduct brand tracking, persona validation, and campaign analysis.
- Use insights to optimize messaging, media mix, and creative execution.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Growth, Marketing, Product, and CX teams.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure brand consistency across all initiative
Qualification & Requirements:
- Graduate or Postgraduate, MBA preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in core Brand & marketing communication. D2C brand experience is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of brand marketing, Offline activations & an understanding of consumer behaviour and campaign design and communications.
- Excellent communication skills - Written & verbal.
- Proven working experience as Brand/Marketing Manager
- Proven ability to work on brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- A creative mind geared towards problem solving
- Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
Good to have qualifications:
- Knowledge of the E-Pharma & healthcare segment is a plus
- Experience in a high growth Start-up or a D2C business in a similar responsibility.
- Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
- Hands-on experience in planning and managing D2C campaigns
