Job Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Bangalore (Work from office)

Job brief:

Weare on the lookout for an Engineering Manager, who can work with dynamic team setups and solve intriguing problems, someone who can bring a fresh mind with new ideas and perspectives and have a sense of ownership. He/she should be willing to get their hands dirty (Code & Implement) and love a challenge.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead & drive all Engineering activities at Truemeds India.

2. Orchestrate the design, development and delivery with high quality, performance, and scale. Develop roadmaps for system and product growth, and then ensure timely execution and delivery.

3. Would be responsible for Backend, Frontend, Infrastructure, Architecture, Scalability, server-side engineering UI and all other technical aspects of the product.

4. Have high technical competence, strong technical background with a proven technical track record.

5. A strong collaborative mindset to work closely with your peers in various teams like Product Management, Strategy, Design, Quality Assurance and more to bring diverse viewpoints and goals together.

6. Provide supervision, mentoring and development opportunities for associates and managers who report to you.

7. A zeal for solving customer problems, and the cascading same passion within your team.

Drive for innovation and improvement- encouraging and enabling your team to improve their tools, processes, and culture; keeping them agile and creative.

Qualifications:

1. 10+Technology Delivery Experience with a bachelor's degree or a master's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, related field or equivalent work experience.

2. Deep understanding of Backend Technologies not limited to Java (Core & EE, Spring Boot, Micro-services, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud), Golang and front-end technologies (Java-script, Node JS, React, Next JS) and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up.

3. Experience working with RDMS systems and SQL(MySQL, Mongo DB, Oracle)

4. Experience with Public and Private cloud infrastructure and solutions, preferably on AWS.

5. Working knowledge of Cloud deployments (Private Cloud / AWS ) and container/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry)

6. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools & processes (GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar), Scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell)

7. Knowledge of integration patterns and messaging technologies such as Kafka, and RabbitMQ.

8. Hands-on experience in developing, designing & scaling complex systems.

9. Start-up experience to scale the organization and influence engineers.

10. Strong sense of ownership and accountability.

11. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

12. Understanding of business processes and the application of technology to implement them.

13. Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices. Passionate about building an innovative culture.
