Truemeds - Director - Supply Chain & Operations

Roles and Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

- Managing the daily operations of the hub, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, order picking, packing, dispatch and reverse logistics.

- Ensure 100% adherence to SLA for order fulfilment, accuracy, delivery timelines, and quality standards.

- Drive operational excellence and implement process improvements, automation, and efficiency-enhancement initiatives.

Supply Chain & Fulfilment Management:

- Oversee end-to-end B2C fulfilment operations and apply B2B experience to strengthen planning, consistency, and process discipline.

- Manage inventory levels, reduce stockouts and shrinkage, and ensure high inventory accuracy through regular audits and controls.

- Coordinate with procurement, planning, and last-mile delivery partners to ensure seamless order flow and availability.

Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute supply-chain strategies for capacity planning, productivity optimisation, and cost efficiency.

- Monitor key KPIs-order accuracy, OTIF, fulfilment time, inventory ageing, logistics cost, manpower productivity-and drive improvements.

- Use dashboards, data insights, and analytics for forecasting, planning, and decision making.

Team Management:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team with clear deliverables and performance metrics.

- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

- Drive cross-functional coordination with Technology, Customer Support, Quality, Finance, and Business teams.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure strict compliance with regulations, quality standards, and operational SOPs.

- Identify operational risks and implement preventive and corrective actions.

- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment within the hub.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

- MBA/PGDM from a Tier-1 business school (IIMs, ISB, XLRI or similar) is preferrable.

- 6-8 years of overall supply chain/operations experience

- Significant hands-on experience in B2C fulfilment operations (e-commerce, quick commerce, retail, logistics, or similar).

- Prior exposure to B2B supply-chain or operations environments.

- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfilment, demand planning, routing, and last-mile coordination.

- Ability to scale operations in a high-volume, high-accuracy environment.

- Strong data-driven decision-making skills; proficiency with dashboards, MIS, and operational analytics.

- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and team-building capabilities.
