Role Overview:

As a Credit Officer (Underwriter), you will be responsible for credit evaluation, risk assessment, and underwriting of loan applications.

You will play a critical role in maintaining portfolio quality, balancing risk with business growth, and driving efficient credit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze borrower profiles, income documents, bank statements, and financials.

- Evaluate creditworthiness using data-driven and judgmental analysis.

- Recommend loan approvals or rejections as per internal policies.

- Collaborate with Sales, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure smooth loan processing.

- Assist in developing and refining credit policies and risk models.

- Monitor loan book performance and support portfolio analytics.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- MBA / PGDM (Finance or Banking specialization preferred).

- Strong analytical, quantitative, and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge of financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and credit risk fundamentals.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

- Familiarity with NBFC operations, digital lending, or credit assessment (preferred but not mandatory for freshers).
