Treasury (Mid Office)
1. Treasury Documentation & Deal Support:
- Manage end-to-end documentation for NCDs (Non-Convertible Debentures), Commercial Papers (CP), and loan agreements with banks, NBFCs, and other investors
- Negotiation of documentation with lenders / investors, coordinate with legal, compliance, and external counsels for transaction execution
- Maintain a documentation repository and ensure timely renewals
2. Covenant Monitoring and Compliances:
- Own end-to-end covenant tracking and monitoring for all borrowing instruments (NCDs, CPs, loans, etc.).
- Maintain covenant compliance tracker and ensure timely submission of deliverables (financials, reports, certificates) to lenders, investors and debenture trustees
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure adherence to all financial and non-financial covenants
3. ALM & Risk Management:
- Assist in Asset-Liability Management (ALM) analysis and scenario-based stress testing.
- Prepare and file ALM returns as per RBI guidelines.
- Conduct ALCO meetings and prepare with relevant data, insights. Highlights Treasury risks (Liquidity risk, Interest rate risks, foreign exchange risks etc.) and suggests appropriate risk mitigation plans
3. Regulatory & Compliance Monitoring:
- Ensure compliance with RBI, SEBI, and Companies Act norms related to treasury operations with relevant support from compliance and secretarial function. .
- Track compliance for borrowing limits, ISIN utilization, credit ratings, and board approvals.
- File RBI returns (e.g., ALM, Structured Liquidity Statements, Securitization filings if applicable).
4. Cash Flow & Fund Planning:
- Monitor short-term and long-term cash flow positions, track repayments, disbursements, and inflows.
- Support preparation of daily/weekly fund utilization reports, forecast gaps, and manage working capital needs.
- Liaise with business and finance teams to align treasury planning with operational needs.
- Manages treasury surplus by investing in FDs / Mutual Funds etc. in accordance with investment policy and liquidity needs of the organisation
5. Treasury Controls & MIS:
- Reconcile deals, rates, and limits with the front office; escalate discrepancies proactively.
- Prepare and circulate periodic treasury MIS reports (fund utilization, borrowing cost analysis, pipeline tracking).
- Maintain trackers for sanctions, drawdowns, repayments, and covenants.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified CA / MBA
- 4-5 years of experience in Treasury Mid Office roles within NBFCs / corporates / BFSI sector.
- Strong working knowledge of NCD/CP documentation, loan agreements, treasury operations, and RBI compliance.
- Familiarity with ALM frameworks, RBI reporting (ALM returns), and treasury risk management practices.
- High attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
