This role provides the opportunity to work closely with senior investment banking professionals, supporting international clients on transactions, and contributing to financial advisory, financial analysis, and investment materials. Since this is a boutique firm, your role will be far more interesting than the usual as you get more exposure to the business and more responsibility at an early stage of career.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Collaborating with associates and analysts while ensuring high-quality and timeliness of deliverables for international clients
- Acting as a key coordination point between internal teams and international clients, ensuring clear communication and project execution
- Reviewing and auditing complex financial models and related analytics
- Advising or supporting in M&A transactions, including preparation of transaction materials, financial analysis, and coordination across stakeholders
- Leading due diligence processes, including financial analysis and preparation of diligence summaries
- Preparing equity trading comparables and precedent transaction analyses used to support valuations
- Conducting and reviewing cash flow analysis and capital structure analysis of companies
- Preparing company, industry, and market research including competitor benchmarking, industry landscape analysis, and market sizing
- Preparing and reviewing client pitchbooks, marketing materials, and presentations used for business development and client communication
- Preparing and reviewing investment committee memorandums, investor presentations, and information memorandums
- Complying with IT policies and procedures
- Maintaining security of information at all times
Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial modelling, corporate finance, valuation, and accounting
- Exposure to M&A transactions, due diligence processes, and preparation of transaction-related materials such as IMs and investor presentations
- Prior experience working on projects for international clients or global investment teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, sufficiently motivated to be able to take ownership and plan/deliver their work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, and international work environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Business
- MBA / CA / CFA Level II or above preferred
Experience:
- Atleast 4-6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, investment funds or financial services KPOs supporting international institutional investors
- Prior experience managing analysts or leading workstreams
- Hands-on experience supporting international clients or global investment teams is essential
