Project Manager - Offshoring Governance.
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid - In-person at MGN Office, Whitefield).
Engagement Type : Individual Consultant (Contract).
Duration : 6 Months (with possibility of extension).
About the Role:
- Our Client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Consultant to support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of its Offshoring Governance Framework.
- The consultant will collaborate closely with the MGN Offshoring Governance Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, risk visibility, and effective governance of offshoring activities across India, Pakistan, and Egypt.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance Framework Execution:
- Coordinate with internal functions (Compliance, Operational Risk, Legal, Divisional GRC) to maintain and update the offshoring governance framework.
- Assist in the development of governance documentation including service criticality ratings, risk assessments, KPIs, and oversight schedules.
Change Management Support:
- Support change management initiatives for the offshoring governance framework rollout.
- Facilitate internal communication and maintain change-related documentation.
Service Catalogue Management:
- Standardize the offshoring service catalogue and create/update related process guidelines.
- Drive enhancements to the service catalogue and establish a process for its ongoing maintenance.
Offshoring Inventory & Documentation:
- Design and implement processes to maintain up-to-date offshoring and outsourcing inventories for regulatory and internal reporting.
- Manage a centralized documentation repository for MSAs, SoWs, risk assessments, and approvals.
Risk and Compliance Reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of governance dashboards, reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Track governance actions and support closure of identified risk items.
- Governance Forum Coordination.
- Prepare agendas, presentations, minutes, and action logs for the MGN Outsourcing Governance Forum.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and follow-ups.
- Tools & Workflow Optimization.
- Define business requirements for governance tools to manage intra-group offshoring.
- Support evaluation and implementation of automation tools (e. , SharePoint, ServiceNow).
- Develop templates and trackers to improve governance visibility and efficiency.
Expected Deliverables:
- Comprehensive governance framework for intra-group offshoring.
- Standardized service catalogue and offshoring inventory guidelines.
- Updated and organized repository of regulatory documents.
- Documented business requirements for governance tool implementation.
- Weekly governance forum materials (agendas, MoMs, decks, trackers).
- Monthly dashboards and reports for senior management.
- Recommendations for tool/process improvements as needed.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in offshoring/outsourcing governance, operational risk, or compliance within financial services.
- Strong understanding of regional and cross-border outsourcing regulations.
- Prior experience working in multinational banking or shared service delivery environments.
- Exceptional organizational and documentation management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of tools like Archer, SharePoint, or ServiceNow is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse stakeholders.
