Role Overview:
The Accounts Manager (International Finance) will be responsible for managing and overseeing the companys international financial operations, including cross-border transactions, inter-company accounting, foreign exchange management, and compliance with global financial regulations. The role involves working closely with regional finance teams, external auditors, bankers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in international finance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Ensure proper recording, reconciliation, and reporting of multi-currency accounts.
Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP as applicable) and local statutory requirements in foreign jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with tax advisors for compliance on cross-border taxation, transfer pricing, and withholding tax obligations.
- Oversee filings, documentation, and reporting required by regulators (FEMA, RBI, etc. for India, and equivalent foreign authorities).
Audit & Reporting
- Prepare consolidated financial statements for international operations.
- Liaise with statutory auditors and internal auditors for international entities.
- Provide management with periodic reports and insights on global financial performance.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Implement best practices in international finance processes and internal controls.
- Support ERP/financial system integration for international operations.
- Drive efficiency in cross-border payment processes and inter-company reconciliations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
- 610 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in international finance.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, foreign exchange management, and international taxation.
- Experience in working with multi-national companies or global subsidiaries preferred.
- Hands-on expertise with ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across cultures and geographies.
