Roles & Responsibilities:

Job Overview:

Lead strategic sourcing and procurement of agro/raw materials, ensuring quality, cost competitiveness, timely availability and supply continuity. The role will work closely with suppliers and internal business teams to build a reliable and transparent raw-material supply chain.

Role & Responsibilities:

- Lead sourcing and procurement of agro/raw materials including wheat, wood chips, veneer chips, and other relevant materials.

- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers and business partners.

- Drive quality, cost and delivery performance in line with industry benchmark.

- Build a transparent, digitally enabled and efficient supply chain for raw materials, leveraging technology and data for better visibility, traceability and decision making.

- Collaborate with business partners and internal stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted material availability.

- Manage supplier negotiations, commercial terms and procurement planning.

- Ensure timely invoice processing and grievance resolution with suppliers.

- Monitor inventory levels, FIFO practices, adequate storage and seasonal availability of raw materials.

- Develop alternate sources and mitigate supply, quality, and price related risks.

- Build and develop the procurement team and improve sourcing process.

Preferred Education or Certifications:

Graduation/Post Graduation in Agriculture, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or related discipline.
