About Department:

The corporate finance department in the company handles all the financials and investment decisions. It primarily focuses on maximizing shareholder value through long-term and short-term financial planning and the implementation of various strategies. It aims to maximize the value of a business through the planning and execution of resources.

Responsibilities Assumed:

A multi-faceted role that primarily focuses on managing deliverables across corporate strategies for various geographies around the world, business finance, analysis of investments, and working with Senior Management on various strategic initiatives and projects across the firm.

Business Finance & Treasury:

- Manage day-to-day cash flow and liquidity planning to ensure adequate funding across the organization.

- Oversee cash management operations, including bank account management, reconciliations, and fund transfers.

- Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.

- Monitor and manage foreign exchange (FX) exposure and hedging strategies.

- Assist in capital structure planning, debt management, and optimizing working capital.

- Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data for accurate treasury reporting and forecasting.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to treasury and finance operations.

- Support investment decisions and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

- Analyze financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate exposure.

- Contribute to corporate finance initiatives including M&A, fundraising, and financial modeling.

- Prepare and present treasury reports, KPIs, and dashboards to senior management.

- Implement treasury management systems and automation tools to enhance efficiency.

Team Management and Leadership:

- Working closely with the Analysts and guide them on day-to-day project management and deliverables.

- Mentoring, training, and developing the team.

- Contributing to the overall operational strategy for smooth team functioning and responsible for the implementation of the strategy within the team.

- Managing various activities within the team, structure various tasks performed by the team.

Prerequisites:

- Understanding of Financial Statements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Proactive and entrepreneurial traits; and a willingness to grow and learn daily.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like PPT, word, excel, etc.

Experience: 4 - 8 year of relevant work experience.

Education: CA
