What will be your key responsibilities?

- Client Management: Manage the VCFO practice focused on start-up clients including assisting them with bookkeeping, finalization, MIS reporting, etc.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique financial needs, goals, and challenges.

- Clients primary advisory counsel in strategic discussions.

- Retaining existing clients and solving functional queries within TAT

- Financial Advisory: Develop and implement financial strategies and plans aligned with clients' objectives.

- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and budgets to identify areas for improvement.

- Provide expert advice on financial matters, risk management, and cost optimization.

- Financial Reporting: Present financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with clients to create and manage budgets and forecasts.

- Monitor financial performance against budget and recommend corrective actions as needed.

- Evaluate financing options and provide recommendations.

- Tax, Compliance, and Due Diligence: Oversee tax planning and compliance efforts for clients(GST, TDS, Income-tax etc.)Assistance in financial due diligence while the client is raising an investment.

- Work with external partners, such as tax advisors and auditors, as necessary.

- Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

- Provide thought leadership in finance and contribute to developing thought leadership content, whitepapers, and webinars.

- Share insights and expertise with clients to help them navigate complex financial challenges.

- Growth Mindset and Cross-Functional Collaborations: Foster a culture of continuous learning and adaptability within the team.

- Encourage team members to embrace challenges, learn from failures, and pursue opportunities for personal and professional growth.

- Facilitate cross-functional communication and teamwork to drive financial success and structural growth activities.

What are the key requirements for the role?

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (2016 or prior) from a Big 4 professional services firm or equivalent firm with 10 to 12 years of experience in Audit/ Assurance/ Financial control roles.

- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of Accounting and financial management principles and practices, along with hands-on experience in direct and indirect taxation and related compliances

- Proficiency in using MS Office and Tally

- Add on knowledge in Quickbooks, Zoho, Winman

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and market conditions

- A strategic thinker with a data-driven decision-making approach
