Job Summary:
This role will focus on developing interior concepts that reflect brand identity while enhancing guest comfort, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
You will be responsible for creating fresh, functional, and brand-compliant designs for guest rooms, public spaces, F&B outlets, and back-of-house areas across multiple hotel projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept & Schematic Design: Create concept presentations, mood boards, and spatial layouts that reflect the desired look and feel of each brand.
- Space Optimization: Design layouts that maximize functionality, circulation, and compliance with operational needs while maintaining aesthetic quality.
- FF&E Selection: Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, lighting, materials, and finishes in accordance with brand standards and budget constraints.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and schedules for project execution.
- Coordination: Collaborate with architects, MEP consultants, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure seamless implementation.
- Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to ensure design fidelity, resolve design-related issues, and oversee quality control.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present concepts and progress updates to hotel owners, operators (Medalio/Radisson/Accor), and internal leadership teams.
- Compliance & Guidelines: Ensure all designs comply with local codes, health & safety regulations, accessibility requirements, and brand technical manuals.
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in hospitality, Retail, QSR interior design.
- Strong knowledge of brand standards and operational design requirements in the hotel industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects in various stages of development.
Preferred Attributes:
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and value engineering.
- Familiarity with hotel brand manuals and operator coordination.
- Team player with a flexible, problem-solving approach and commercial awareness.
Working Conditions:
- May require occasional extended hours during key project phases.
