Tredence - Technical Lead - Data Science

About the Role:

We are the DeployCo team in Tredence that deploys accelerator driven solutions for our clients at scale. The team is looking for a Technical Lead to lead a pod of data scientists. The candidate will have ownership of end to end system development from Problem Definition to Solution Deployment for accelerator led solutions. He or she will also train and mentor the data scientists in the team. This is a deeply technical role with people, hands on and project management responsibilities along with client management.

Required Skills:

- Ability to handle structured /unstructured data like Text, Image and have prior experience in loading, validating and cleaning various types of data.

- Very good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

- Excellent coding skills in Python.

- Thorough understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, LLMs/GenAI.

- Ability to apply these algorithms in a professional setting.

- Accountable for measuring and optimizing the quality of algorithms.

- Mentored and guided junior data scientists in previous roles.

- Delivery experience working directly with clients at least for a year.

Preferred Skills:

- Prior People Management Experience for at least a year.

- Excellent Communication Skills.

Education and Experience:

- BE/B. Tech/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field with around 8 years of relevant experience (around 6 with Masters and 4 with PhD) in a team building world class applications in the areas of Predictive Analytics and Data Science.
