Tredence - Senior Data Scientist

Experience: 5-8 years

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with strong experience in traditional machine learning and emerging Generative AI capabilities.

The role involves designing scalable data science solutions, building GenAI-powered applications, and deploying them on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for business use cases

- Build and optimize Generative AI solutions such as:

i. RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines

ii. LLM-based applications (chatbots, summarization, Text-to-SQL, etc.)

- Work with structured and unstructured data for advanced analytics and modeling

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data-driven solutions

- Deploy models using cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) with scalability and reliability

- Implement end-to-end ML pipelines including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and monitoring

- Optimize model performance and ensure production readiness

- Stay updated with advancements in GenAI, LLMs, and MLOps practices

Required Skills:

Core Data Science:

- Strong expertise in Machine Learning (classification, regression, clustering, forecasting)

- Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)

- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch)

Generative AI:

- Hands-on experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Llama, etc.)

- Experience building RAG pipelines and prompt engineering

- Familiarity with LangChain / LangGraph / vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, etc.)

Cloud & MLOps:

- Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP services

- Model deployment using APIs, containers, or managed services

- Exposure to MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have:

- Experience with Databricks ecosystem (Unity Catalog, Model Serving, Vector Search)

- Knowledge of NLP, Text Analytics, or Computer Vision

- Exposure to big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)

- Experience in client-facing roles and solution design

Education:

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field

Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management

- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
