We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and emerging Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will design, build, and deploy data-driven solutions, including LLM-powered applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex business problems at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Data Science & Machine Learning

- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for real-world business use cases

- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and feature engineering on structured and unstructured datasets

- Apply statistical techniques to derive actionable insights and validate model performance

- Optimize model accuracy, scalability, and performance in production environments

Generative AI & LLMs

- Build and implement Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs)

- Develop applications leveraging prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques

- Integrate LLMs with APIs, vector databases, and enterprise data sources

- Evaluate and mitigate risks related to bias, hallucinations, and model reliability

- Engineering & Deployment

- Collaborate with data engineers and software engineers to deploy models using

MLOps best practices

- Work with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) for scalable AI solutions

- Implement versioning, monitoring, and retraining pipelines

- Collaboration & Leadership

- Partner with product, business, and engineering teams to define data-driven solutions

- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to technical best practices

- Communicate insights and model results to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Skills

- Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)

- Experience with machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, NLP)

- Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling

- Hands-on experience with SQL and data manipulation

Generative AI Skills

- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs

- Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar

- Knowledge of prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG pipelines

- Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)

Tools & Technologies

- ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch

- Data visualization: Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, Tableau (optional)

- Cloud platforms: AWS / Azure / GCP

- MLOps tools: MLflow, Docker, CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field

- Experience working with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate)

- Exposure to NLP, text embeddings, and semantic search

- Experience deploying AI solutions in enterprise or production environments
