Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Treasury Function Leader to drive and oversee our global treasury operations.
This leader will be instrumental in managing forex collections, optimizing cash flows, handling surplus funds, and securing working capital and term loan funding.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Forex Collections:
- Oversee and optimize international receivables; collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline forex collections and minimize currency risk.
Cash Flow Predictions:
- Lead the preparation, analysis, and continuous improvement of short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
Surplus Management:
- Develop and execute strategies for surplus cash deployment, ensuring optimal returns while maintaining liquidity and compliance.
Working Capital & Debt Funding:
- Identify funding requirements, structure, and negotiate working capital and term loan facilities with financial institutions.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with internal teams, banks, and external partners to ensure treasury objectives are met.
Process Improvement:
- Implement best practices, automation, and controls to enhance treasury operations and reporting.
Key Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in treasury or corporate finance, preferably in a high-growth or multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of forex management, cash flow forecasting, and debt funding.
- Proven experience in banking relationships and negotiation of credit facilities.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; knowledge of treasury management systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.
- CA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred.
