Role Overview:

As a Treasury Manager (Front Office) based in Mumbai, you will serve as the primary interface for the organization's daily financial market activities. You will be responsible for executing day-to-day treasury operations, including cash positioning, short-term liquidity management, and foreign exchange hedging. This role requires close collaboration with internal finance teams, banking partners, and senior leadership to ensure optimal capital allocation. By maintaining a robust liquidity profile and mitigating financial risks, you will directly influence the company's bottom line and ensure the seamless execution of corporate financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute daily cash management activities to ensure sufficient liquidity across all operational accounts, preventing shortfalls and optimizing idle cash balances.

- Manage liquidity risk by forecasting cash flows and monitoring market volatility, providing the business with the stability needed to meet short-term obligations.

- Execute foreign exchange and interest rate hedging strategies to protect the company from market fluctuations and minimize financial exposure.

- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners and financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms and ensure efficient transaction processing.

- Prepare comprehensive treasury reports for senior management, offering actionable insights into cash positions, debt profiles, and market trends to support strategic decision-making.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep functional expertise in Treasury management, with a proven ability to handle complex cash flow modeling and liquidity risk assessment frameworks.

- Debt & Capital Market Activities

- Banking & Financial Operations

- Establish and manage credit lines to support liquidity needs

- Exhibit a strong grasp of Corporate Finance principles, specifically regarding capital structure, working capital management, and financial risk mitigation.

- Possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively negotiate with banking counterparts and communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.

- Hold a professional degree such as an MBA in Finance, CA, or CFA, which provides the analytical foundation required for high-stakes financial decision-making.

- Adapt seamlessly to an on-site work environment in Mumbai, maintaining high levels of focus and accuracy in a fast-paced, market-driven setting.
