Job Title: Treasury Head Front Office

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Treasury Head to lead the front-office treasury function for a leading manufacturing company. The role involves managing funds, liquidity, borrowing programs, banking relationships, forex exposures, and treasury risk. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of corporate treasury operations (front office), strong analytical skills, and proven experience in managing a multi-entity manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fund Management & Liquidity Planning

- Manage daily cash positions and optimize fund utilization across entities.

- Oversee short-term and long-term cash flow forecasting.

- Ensure adequate liquidity to support operations, CapEx, and expansion.

- Deploy surplus funds efficiently in line with treasury policy.

2. Banking & Borrowing Management

- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

- Negotiate limits, pricing, and terms for working capital, term loans, and credit lines.

- Evaluate and execute external debt options including bank borrowings and bond programs.

- Ensure compliance with loan covenants and periodic reporting.

3. Treasury Front Office Operations

- Lead execution of treasury transactions (funding, investments, forex hedges).

- Ensure adherence to treasury policies, risk limits, and internal controls.

- Monitor market developments and provide insights for treasury decision-making.

4. Forex Exposure & Hedging

- Track and analyze forex exposures related to imports/exports.

- Design and execute hedging strategies in coordination with management.

- Maintain MIS for hedge positions, exposures, rates, and maturity buckets.

- Work closely with business units to forecast currency requirements.

5. Supply Chain Finance (SCF)

- Manage programs for vendor financing, dealer financing, and factoring.

- Work with banks to enhance working capital efficiencies across the supply chain.

6. Treasury Compliance, Reporting & MIS

- Develop and maintain treasury dashboards for management review.

- Provide weekly/monthly reports on liquidity, borrowings, hedges, investments, and treasury KPIs.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (RBI, FEMA, ECB if applicable).

- Drive automation and digital tools for treasury efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 10 to 18 years of experience in corporate treasury, preferably in a large manufacturing company.

- Strong exposure to front-office treasury, fund management, and banking interactions.

- Solid understanding of banking products: LC, BG, CC, working capital, SCF.

- Conceptual knowledge of forex markets, hedging tools, and risk management.

- Excellent stakeholder-management, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
