Treasury Dealer - FX & Derivatives Trading

Job Purpose:

The role involves driving FX & Derivatives trading activities in India, positioning the bank as a leading provider of financial markets solutions while adhering strictly to internal risk frameworks and regulatory guidelines.

The incumbent will play a key role in enhancing the product desk, supporting business growth, and strengthening client engagement through effective pricing, structuring, and market insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute and manage FX and derivatives trading strategies in line with market views and desk objectives

- Operate within defined risk limits, including stop-loss and exposure thresholds

- Provide accurate and competitive pricing for FX products, derivative structures, and options

- Support sales and distribution teams to enhance client flow business

- Partner with relationship teams on client meetings, product pitches, and structuring solutions

- Deliver market insights and commentary to internal stakeholders and clients

- Coordinate with counterparties and other banks to ensure efficient pricing and execution

- Contribute to improving processes, product offerings, and overall desk performance

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance / Business; MBA or CFA preferred

- 5-8 years of experience in Treasury with focus on FX & Derivatives trading

- Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and risk management frameworks

- Proven ability to manage risk effectively and deliver consistent P&L performance

- Excellent technical and analytical skills with strong product knowledge

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
