
Treasury Audit
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational process inputs for new product implementation and company/entity setup, ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and control standards.
- Assess the impact of regulatory and business changes on existing operational processes, procedures, and controls.
- Identify and assess operational and treasury-related risks associated with business activities and recommend appropriate mitigating controls.
- Develop and maintain Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs) aligned with business processes, regulatory requirements, and organizational risk frameworks.
- Design, document, and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documents, policies, and control frameworks.
- Ensure documented processes meet the requirements of internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory and audit expectations.
- Support the implementation of operational and regulatory changes by developing appropriate frameworks, procedures, policies, and control mechanisms.
- Conduct periodic reviews of processes and controls to ensure continued efficiency, effectiveness, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve business processes while maintaining appropriate control environments.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, internal policies, and business requirements, and update processes and controls accordingly.
- Partner with business and functional teams to facilitate day-to-day operational activities and problem-solving.
- Support remediation of audit findings, control gaps, and process deficiencies and track implementation of agreed action plans.
- Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders on process risks, control effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and operational improvements.
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing relevant process documentation, control evidence, risk assessments, and management responses.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Big 4 experience is mandatory.
- Treasury Audit experience is mandatory.
- Candidates should have hands-on exposure to Treasury processes, audit, risk assessment, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of Risk & Control Matrices (RCMs), SOPs, process documentation, and control frameworks.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business, operations, risk, compliance, and audit functions.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Treasury Operations, Treasury Audit, Financial Services, Banking, or Corporate Treasury.
- Exposure to regulatory change management and implementation.
- Experience in process transformation, control optimization, and operational risk management.
- Knowledge of internal and external audit methodologies and regulatory expectations.
