Role Overview:

As a Litigation Finance Analyst (Privates)-Financial Research, you will be at the forefront of evaluating and managing investments in litigation finance assets. Your day-to-day will involve rigorous financial modeling, in-depth case analysis, and active portfolio management. You will collaborate closely with legal teams, investment professionals, and senior management to identify, assess, and execute investment opportunities. Your work will directly impact the firm's investment decisions and portfolio performance, contributing to the growth and success of our litigation finance strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling and valuation analysis of potential litigation finance investments, providing critical insights for investment decisions.

- Perform detailed underwriting and due diligence on legal claims, assessing their merits, potential outcomes, and associated risks for informed investment recommendations.

- Manage and monitor a portfolio of litigation finance assets, tracking performance, identifying potential issues, and implementing strategies to optimize returns for the firm.

- Develop and maintain robust data management systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of investment data, supporting effective portfolio management and reporting.

- Collaborate with legal teams and external experts to gather and analyze relevant information, ensuring a thorough understanding of the legal and financial aspects of each investment opportunity.

- Prepare and present investment recommendations to senior management, clearly articulating the rationale, risks, and potential returns of each opportunity to facilitate informed decision-making.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis, enabling accurate assessment of complex litigation finance opportunities.

- Proven ability to conduct thorough underwriting and due diligence, identifying key risks and opportunities in legal claims.

- Strong understanding of portfolio management principles and techniques, ensuring effective monitoring and optimization of investment performance.

- Excellent data management skills, including the ability to develop and maintain robust systems for tracking and analyzing investment data.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial and legal concepts to diverse audiences.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.

- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
