About the Role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic professional to join the DESCOvery team as a Senior Analyst / Lead Analyst. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in investment research, particularly in early-stage (Pre-Seed/Seed) ecosystems, startup environments, or Founder's/CEO's Office roles.

This role requires expertise in evaluating new business opportunities, market landscapes, and product-market fit through structured research and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth market research and strategic research

- Perform market sizing (TAM, SAM, SOM) and addressable market analysis

- Evaluate product-market fit and business models

- Build and maintain financial models, budgeting, and projections

- Support leadership with investment thesis development and opportunity assessment

- Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and insights for strategic decision-making

- Analyze startup ecosystems, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes

Eligibility Criteria:

2-7 years of experience in:

- Investment research (early-stage focus preferred)

- Venture Capital / Venture Studio / Startup ecosystem

- Founder's Office / CEO's Office

- Strategic or market research roles

Strong expertise in:

- Market research & competitive benchmarking

- Financial modelling & budgeting

- Market opportunity evaluation

- Strategic analysis
