Travash - Manager/Senior Manager - Fund Accounting

Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Fund Accounting professionals with strong hands-on exposure to Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds. The role requires candidates who have directly managed end-to-end fund accounting activities rather than only reviewing, auditing, or supporting operational processes.

The selected candidate will work closely with global teams and be responsible for managing fund accounting deliverables, financial reporting, NAV calculations, investor reporting, and other core accounting activities within a dynamic rotational setup.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end fund accounting activities for Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds.

- Prepare and review NAV calculations, capital account statements, financial statements, and investor reporting.

- Handle journal entries, accruals, expense allocations, and fund reconciliations.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders, auditors, administrators, and global teams.

- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements.

- Participate in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

- Adapt to rotational assignments and collaborate across multiple fund strategies/functions.

Mandatory Skills:

- Strong hands-on (Direct) Fund Accounting experience.

- Experience working with Private Equity and/or Hedge Funds is mandatory.

- Good understanding of fund structures, capital activity, investor allocations, and financial reporting.

- Ability to work in fast-paced global environments with flexibility in shifts.

Important Note:

Candidates with only operations/reconciliation experience will not be suitable for this role.

Preference will be given to candidates who have directly performed Fund Accounting activities rather than only reviewing/auditing them.
