The Private Credit team evaluates and manages investments across public and private corporate credit, commercial real estate, loan portfolios, and special situations across North America and Europe.

Within Asset Management, the team is responsible for monitoring portfolio performance, managing investment cash flows, assessing credit and operational risks, and driving key commercial decisions including pricing, exit strategies, funding requirements, and servicer performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage deal onboarding into proprietary systems and develop comprehensive, end-to-end portfolio reporting frameworks.

- Analyze borrower business models, financial performance, cash-flow forecasts, debt capacity, leverage, and collateral.

- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, IRR, ROI, cash-flow and scenario analysis, to support investment and portfolio-management decisions.

- Monitor investment performance, portfolio cash flows, valuations, and business-plan performance against expectations.

- Develop cash-management and funding strategies, including assessment of future capital requirements and allocation of available capital.

- Monitor covenant compliance, borrowing-base requirements, portfolio risks, and investment performance, escalating exceptions where appropriate.

- Engage regularly with borrowers, lenders, servicers, trading desks, and other internal and external stakeholders.

- Track company-specific developments, competitive dynamics, industry trends, and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities.

- Support the development and execution of asset exit strategies, including pricing and valuation analysis.

- Identify early warning indicators of asset distress, underperformance, or deterioration in credit quality.

- Lead or support restructuring, amendments, waivers, and workout processes for distressed investments.

- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews, valuation assessments, and business-plan variance/deviation analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.

- Contribute to process improvements, reporting automation, and other strategic initiatives within the Asset Management function.

What Were Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

- MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification in Finance.

- 2-14 years of relevant experience in corporate credit analysis, private credit, credit asset management, portfolio management, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of credit fundamentals, financial statements, debt structures, cash flows, and investment analysis.

- Hands-on experience with financial modeling, including DCF, IRR, ROI, cash-flow forecasting, and scenario/sensitivity analysis.

- Experience evaluating borrower creditworthiness, debt capacity, collateral, leverage, and portfolio performance.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to independently evaluate complex investment and credit situations.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with trading desks, investment teams, and other stakeholders.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills, with strong attention to detail.

- Demonstrated ability to own and lead complex projects from inception through completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with structured finance or structured credit asset classes, such as ABS, MBS, CMBS, CLOs, or other securitized products.

- Exposure to private credit, direct lending, leveraged finance, special situations, or distressed credit.

- Experience with covenant monitoring, restructuring, amendments, workouts, or distressed-asset management.

- Experience working with North American or European credit markets is a plus.
