Designation : Senior Analyst / Lead Analyst / Principal Analyst / Associate Director

Overview:
We are seeking experienced professionals across multiple levels to join our Private Credit investment team. The role involves end-to-end execution of private credit investments, including origination support, credit underwriting, deal structuring, portfolio management, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong credit judgment, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to work across the full investment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities (Common Across Levels):
Investment Analysis & Underwriting:
- Conduct detailed credit analysis of middle-market and large corporate borrowers
- Build and review comprehensive financial models (cash flow, leverage, downside and stress scenarios)
- Assess business models, industry dynamics, competitive positioning, and management quality
- Prepare investment memoranda, credit notes, and internal committee presentations
Deal Execution & Structuring:
- Support or lead deal structuring including covenants, security packages, pricing, and documentation
- Coordinate with legal advisors, due- diligence providers, and external consultants
- Review term sheets, loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, and related documentation
Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Management:
- Monitor portfolio companies' financial and operating performance
- Track covenant compliance, credit metrics, and early warning indicators
- Recommend proactive actions such as amendments, waivers, or restructurings when required
Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with origination teams, senior investment professionals, and risk/compliance teams
- Interact with borrowers, sponsors, banks, and advisors
- Support investor reporting and responses to limited partner (LP) queries
Role-Specific Expectations:
Senior Analyst (3-5 Years)
- Perform detailed financial analysis and modeling with limited supervision
- Support senior team members in underwriting and deal execution
- Draft sections of investment memos and portfolio monitoring reports
- Develop strong understanding of credit structures and documentation
Lead Analyst (5-8 Years)
- Independently lead underwriting workstreams on transactions
- Review models and analysis prepared by junior analysts
- Take ownership of specific portfolio accounts
- Contribute actively to investment committee discussions
Principal Analyst (8-12 Years)
- Lead end- to- end execution of private credit transactions
- Drive deal structuring discussions and negotiate commercial terms
- Provide credit recommendations with clear risk- return rationale
- Mentor junior team members and ensure analytical quality
Associate Director (12-15 Years)
- Originate or co- originate private credit opportunities
- Own relationships with sponsors, borrowers, and intermediaries
- Lead investment committee presentations and decision processes
- Oversee portfolio construction, risk limits, and performance
- Play a key role in team leadership, hiring, and strategic initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred)
Technical Skills:
- Advanced financial modeling and credit analysis skills
- Strong understanding of debt instruments (senior secured, mezzanine, unitranche, structured credit)
- Knowledge of legal documentation and covenant frameworks
Behavioral & Leadership Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem- solving mindset
- Ability to work independently in a fast- paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong commercial judgment
Preferred Background:
- Experience in private credit funds, alternative asset managers, investment banks, or structured finance teams
- Exposure to sponsor- backed transactions and direct lending strategies
- Experience across multiple sectors is an advantage
