Transformative - Country Manager - IIM/ISB/MDI/FMS

Duties/Responsibilities :

1. Own full P&L for a country, setting aggressive revenue, margin and CAC/LTV targets.

- Craft and execute a holistic growth strategy across D2C, marketplaces, offline & emerging channels.

2. Build country-specific brand positioning rooted in Ayurveda while respecting local consumer insights.

3. Lead marketplace playbooks-assortment, pricing, keyword share, rating/ review ops, and promotions.

4. Architect offline launch plans: channel mix, partner selection, counter/shop- in- shop roll-outs, PoS design.

5. Forecast demand and manage end-to-end inventory, ensuring - 2 % stock-out and - 4 % ageing stock.

6. Define product-market fit; localize hero SKUs, craft new- product roadmaps, and sunset low ROI lines.

7. Collaborate with R&D to adapt formulations for regional regulations and sensorial preferences.

8. Orchestrate 360- marketing-performance, influencer, CRM, PR-allocating budgets for max ROAS.

9. Establish data pipelines and dashboards; track cohorts, repeat rates, marketplace rankings in real time.

10. Negotiate with 3PLs, payment partners and duty consultants to optimize landed costs and SLAs.

11. Recruit, mentor and performance-manage cross-functional teams (growth, ops, CS, retail, trade).

12. Champion customer obsession; mine VOC insights to feed product updates and CX enhancements.

13. Drive strategic partnerships-wellness chains, tourism boards, Ayurveda clinics-to amplify reach.

14. Ensure legal and tax compliance, including cosmetics claims, import duties and GDPR-like mandates.

15. Present quarterly business reviews to Global Leadership, highlighting wins, risks and next bets.

16. Deploy test-and-learn culture; run A/Bs on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers.

17. Set up disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply, logistics, ads and key seller accounts.

18. Benchmark competition; deliver actionable intel on pricing, share-of-voice and shelf velocity.

19. Act as the brand's cultural ambassador, embodying its ethos while driving high-performance execution.

Qualifications

1. Tier 1 colleges only. IIMs, XLRI, SP Jain etc.

2. Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Retail industry (FMCG, Retail, E commerce)

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)

4. Strong analytical, data and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use the information for reporting

5. Drive and manage own tasks effectively; work independently and be aneffective contributor to the team

6. Meticulous attention to detail and follow through

7. Extremely organised with superior time management skills Ability to multitask and prioritise under tight schedules while maintaining production of

high-quality work

8. Self-accountability to follow-through with proper consistent updates to stake holders Proficiency with project-based tools such as Word, Excel, Project and
