Role Overview
The Sales Specialist CLIA/Immunology will serve as a strategic commercial leader responsible for driving market penetration, revenue growth, and customer engagement for the companys Immunology (CLIA) product portfolio.
This role requires strong domain knowledge, solution-driven selling skills, and the ability to manage high-value client relationships across hospitals, diagnostic chains, and healthcare institutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Revenue Management
- Drive end-to-end sales for the Immunology (CLIA) product line within the assigned territory.
- Deliver consistent performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and execute market-specific sales strategies to maximize product adoption.
Market Expansion & Business Development
- Identify, evaluate, and convert new business opportunities across hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centers, and healthcare providers.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through strategic prospecting, market mapping, and lead qualification.
Customer Relationship & Key Account Management
- Cultivate and maintain long-term, high-impact relationships with clinicians, procurement teams, lab directors, and decision-makers.
- Conduct consultative product presentations, demonstrations, and solution-based discussions to influence buying decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work in close coordination with application specialists, service engineers, PMG teams, and divisional sales colleagues to ensure seamless pre- and post-sales engagement.
- Support divisional sales colleagues through knowledge sharing, product training, and joint customer interfacing.
Channel & Distributor Management
- Strengthen distributor capabilities by ensuring adequate product availability, supply-chain efficiency, and market coverage.
- Monitor distributor performance and support local promotional initiatives to boost penetration.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitive activities, market trends, pricing dynamics, and customer feedback to recommend strategic enhancements.
- Ensure accurate documentation, CRM updates, forecasting, and periodic reporting to management.
Brand Representation
- Represent the organization at conferences, exhibitions, scientific forums, CME programs, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.Sc, B.Pharm , B.Tech, or M.Sc (Life Sciences preferred).
MBA in Sales
Experience: 23 years of proven success in Immunology or Core Lab diagnostic sales.
Advantage: Prior experience in medical device sales with a focus on Immunology/CLIA platforms
