Training Manager - Project Sales

We have opened one new role as Specialist Field Readiness to be based out of Mumbai.

We are looking at the person who have worked in construction chemicals industry and have good product knowledge of Flooring, Waterproofing, Repair and Restoration etc. This person will work closely with Project Sales team and train the people in that domain for the development they need.

Job Purpose :

Provide technical training for Project Sales Executives, Sales Engineers, and Managers on construction chemicals. Areas of training will comprise Flooring, Repair and Waterproofing products.

Track and report on pre- and post-performance. Build team capability as measured by delivery of business objectives for these categories. Develop training content by using subject expertise, coordinating with internal as well as external stakeholders. Measure training effectiveness and develop retention and adherence mechanisms.

Primary Responsibilities :

Business Responsibility Areas :

- Liasoning with APPS field and brand teams to determine training needs for the field team.

- Liasoning with industry experts for the creation of training content.

- Field visits and reporting to decipher gap areas in current way of working/ opportunities for improvement.

- Training content design and development with coordination with brand team.

- Self-learning on new/cutting edge technology in the category and making modules to pass on the knowledge to the field team.

- Calendar management, training organization and delivery of trainings theory, applied concepts and product application demos.

- Measurement of knowledge and application of training post session in intervals of one month, 3 months and a year.

- Deployment of support elements and post session study material to reinforce training concepts.

- Reporting on participant performance and impact created in terms of business objectives aligned to the training programs.

Key Interactions :

- Internal: APPS Hierarchy, Colour Academy, CC CSEs, Brand Technologists.

- External: Business Development Managers in Construction Chemical industry, CC Application experts, Structural Consultants, Institutional Clients, Civil Construction Companies.

Education : B.Tech/B.E. Civil from a recognised university.

Work Experience : 10+ years of experience in the relevant industry.
