
Main Purpose:
- Trafigura is seeking a dynamic Global Storage Reporting Manager to lead our storage reporting function and drive operational excellence across our global commodity storage operations. This critical role involves managing a team of reporting analysts responsible for extracting trading data from our systems of record and producing comprehensive reports on stock positions and reconciliations to support the business.
- The successful candidate will be a change agent focused on reducing complexity, streamlining entrenched processes, and project managing system development initiatives to enhance our reporting capabilities. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Business or Data Analytics
- Minimum 3 years' experience managing technical teams (3-8 people), preferably in data-driven and reporting environments
- Proficient in English both in spoken and written
- Proven track record of developing team capabilities and managing performance
- Experience leading process improvement and change management initiatives
- Experience in applying sophisticated data analytics techniques and in developing automation tools
Technical knowledge to include:
- 5+ years' experience in data extraction, transformation, and reporting
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite, leveraging MS Excel for data gathering & reporting using advanced MS Excel skills (Macros, VBAs, Integrating Excel with other tools etc.)
- Strong proficiency and day to day experience using data visualization (QlikSense, Power BI OR Tableau) and data analytics tools.
- Strong SQL and database management experience

- Lead and develop a team reporting analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence
- Oversee extraction of trading data from multiple systems of record and translate the data into business-relevant insights
- Challenge and streamline legacy reporting processes, reducing manual interventions and operational risk
- Implement cross-training programmes to eliminate knowledge silos and build operational resilience
- Manage performance, conduct regular reviews, and support career development
