Role Overview:

As a Trader - Steel Scrap, you will be responsible for executing trading strategies, managing risk, and maximizing profitability within the steel scrap market. You will work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure efficient execution of trades. This role directly impacts the company's revenue generation and market position by optimizing trading performance and expanding our global network.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement trading strategies for steel scrap, aligning with the company's overall business objectives to maximize profitability.

- Analyze market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors to identify trading opportunities and mitigate risks.

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions to secure profitable trades.

- Manage and monitor trading positions, ensuring compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry experts, to expand the company's network and market reach.

- Monitor and report on trading performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve trading strategies and optimize profitability.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, finance, and legal, to ensure smooth execution of trades and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful trading strategies in the steel scrap market.

- Proven expertise in analyzing market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors to identify trading opportunities.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to secure favorable contract terms with suppliers and customers.

- Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory requirements in commodity trading.

- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

- Adaptable to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across different time zones.
