Position: Trader - Ores & Semi-Finished Metal Products

Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 8-17 years (ideally in trading ores, minerals, concentrates or semi-finished metal products)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Trader Ores & Semis to originate, negotiate and execute trades in ores (e.g., iron ore, manganese, copper concentrates) and semi-finished metal products (e.g., billets, slabs, wire rods). You'll manage supplier and customer relationships, analyze markets and help grow the business P&L.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and structure profitable trades in ores and semi-finished metal products

- Build and manage domestic and international supplier and buyer networks

- Negotiate commercial contracts, payment and delivery terms

- Track global commodity markets, price trends and demand/supply dynamics

- Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth execution

- Manage credit and operational risks associated with trades

- Identify new products, regions or clients to expand trading scope

- Contribute to monthly P&L targets and performance analysis

What We're Looking For:

- Trading experience in ores, minerals, concentrates and/or semis (billets, slabs, rods, etc.)

- Strong commercial and negotiation skills

- Market intelligence and risk management mindset

- Ability to build and maintain long-term supplier and customer relationships

- Experience in domestic and/or export markets

- Proactive, analytical and collaborative approach
