Trader - Edible Nut & Spices

Location - Dubai

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Establish an edible nuts trading desk covering tree nuts (almonds, brazil, cashew, hazelnuts, macadamia, pecans, walnuts, pistachios etc.) acting as subject matter expert for all edible nuts related business

- Actively promote edible nut products into client base spanning producers, retailers and wholesalers

- Foster relationships at all stages of the trading cycle, meeting with suppliers/customers and maintaining business channels for the sale and purchase of tree nuts

- Work with internal logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth, timely and cost effective trade flow, responding to enquiries and problems swiftly

- Cross-sell with existing teams/desks to promote volumes of edible nuts to both existing and new clients

- Keep up to date with market intelligence and news to direct trading strategy

- Drive new supplier and customer relationships across markets in edible nuts/tree nuts

- This journey should cover origination, processing, destination sales the entire value chain.

- Independently manage and trade a portfolio, focusing on momentum trading strategies.
