Position Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Trade Marketing Manager to drive our product strategy, new introductions, and retail market success within the Automotive industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industry trends, product lifecycle management, and trade marketing dynamics.


Key Responsibilities:


- Trade Marketing & Retail Execution: Apply in-depth knowledge of trade marketing to develop and execute programs that drive sell-through, specifically targeting stakeholders in the retail market (distributor, retailer, mechanics).


- Marketing Campaign Management: Establish new products and maintain existing ones through effective planning and execution of ATL (Above-The-Line) & BTL (Below-The-Line) activities.


- Industry & Market Analysis: Maintain a good understanding of major trends and developments in the Automotive industry to inform strategic decisions.


- Product Strategy & Lifecycle: Oversee Product Life Cycle Management for (Passenger Car Motor Oil & Motorcycle Oil) from ideation to discontinuation, including new product road mapping.


- New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead consumer research efforts to identify gaps and opportunities for new product introduction


- Commercial & Margin Management: Utilize sharp commercial acumen for margin management(pricing, cost analysis, profitability tracking) across all product lines.


- Cross-Functional Project Management: Manage internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Technical, vendors) to ensure the timely execution of projects with quality delivery.


- Competitive Intelligence: Conduct continuous competition mapping, including detailed analysis of competitor products and prices, to maintain a competitive edge.


Qualifications & Skills Experience:


- Proven experience (4-6 years) in Product Management, Trade Marketing, or a similar commercial role within the Lubricants, Paints, Chemicals, FMCG/FMCD, or Electrical industry.


- Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to understand and leverage automotive industry trends.


- Commercial Acumen: Strong financial and analytical skills, particularly in margin analysis and profitability.


- Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and cross-functional communication skills.


Education: Full-time MBA


- Travelling: 5-6 days a month
