ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a first-principles thinker and strong problem solver to own and manage an assigned business unit at Tracxn.

This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of strategy, operations, offerings and execution. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business problems, develop practical solutions and drive them through implementation.

The specific business unit may vary, but the role consistently requires structured thinking, intellectual rigour and strong execution. The ideal candidate goes beyond surface-level fixes, researches problems thoroughly, and takes ownership from problem definition through implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Problem Solving:

- Identify high-impact business problems within the assigned unit, structure them clearly, and develop practical, scalable solutions.

- Develop and execute business strategy aligned with Tracxn's goals, translating priorities into clear roadmaps and measurable outcomes.

- Conduct research and analysis to understand root causes, evaluate alternatives and make data-backed decisions.

Process Improvement:

- Own day-to-day operations of the assigned unit and drive improvements in efficiency, quality and scalability.

- Identify bottlenecks and improve processes, workflows, dashboards and automation to enhance business performance.

- Review business performance regularly, identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:

- Understand complex client and stakeholder requirements, identify the underlying business problem, and drive appropriate solutions.

- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales and other teams to execute initiatives and resolve high-priority issues.

Offering & Business Initiatives:

- Identify gaps and opportunities in Tracxn's offerings based on customer needs, market developments, industry benchmarking and internal data.

- Evaluate and execute new business initiatives, working with relevant teams to improve offerings and customer experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- 5 - 8 years of experience in business strategy, operations, consulting, sales, client servicing, or other analytical, execution-driven roles.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from a Tier-1 institution such as IITs, BITS Pilani, or equivalent.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems and develop practical, scalable solutions.

- Strong analytical and research abilities, with the ability to use data to understand problems and make decisions.

- Comfortable working at the intersection of business and technology, with the ability to understand technical systems, constraints and trade-offs.

- Strong ownership and execution orientation, with the ability to independently drive problems from definition to resolution.

- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Preferred: prior experience with B2B businesses, SaaS, market intelligence, consulting, technology platforms, or other data-driven businesses.

- Preferred: hands-on experience with AI or technology-enabled process improvement.

- Preferred: experience working directly with clients or senior business stakeholders.
