About the Role.
We are looking for an experienced E-commerce Leader to drive marketplace growth and manage end-to-end online business operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for revenue growth, marketplace strategy, digital performance, and P&L management across major platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Quick Commerce channels.
This role requires strong expertise in marketplace management, digital marketing, analytics, and team leadership to scale the e-commerce business and strengthen the brands online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace Business Growth:
- Drive overall revenue, profitability, and market share across key marketplaces.
- Develop and execute growth strategies for platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Quick Commerce channels.
- Identify new marketplace opportunities and expansion strategies.
P&L Ownership:
- Manage end-to-end P&L for the e-commerce business.
- Ensure sustainable revenue growth while maintaining healthy margins.
- Optimize pricing strategies, promotions, and marketing investments to maximize ROI.
Platform & Account Management:
- Build strong relationships with marketplace account managers and platform teams.
- Drive participation in platform campaigns, category initiatives, and promotional events.
Digital Marketing & Performance:
- Lead performance marketing initiatives, including sponsored ads and platform marketing tools.
- Improve ROAS, conversion rates, traffic growth, and customer acquisition.
Operations & Supply Chain:
- Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure inventory availability and efficient fulfillment.
- Monitor stock health, demand planning, and inventory turnover.
- Minimize out-of-stock situations and improve operational efficiency.
Product & Listing Optimization:
- Ensure high-quality product listings, optimized content, and catalog management.
- Improve product discoverability, organic ranking, and category performance.
Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing e-commerce team across marketing, catalog, and operations.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics to drive accountability and results.
Data & Analytics:
- Track and analyse key metrics such as sales, margins, ROAS, CAC, and conversion rates.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize strategy and performance.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the E-commerce and Quick Commerce ecosystem.
- Expertise in performance marketing and marketplace advertising.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience managing large online revenue portfolios.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in E-commerce or Digital Business.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience managing marketplace platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart.
